Strathclyde University, Shetland Islands Council’s ‘ORION’ Project and Energi i Nord invites you to a webinar exploring common challenges and opportunities in Northern Scotland and Northern Norway regions in relation to the Net Zero Transition.
Both regions share a heavy reliance on fossil fuels, challenging climates and difficult transport links but significant renewable resource potential. This webinar will explore both the common challenges but also the huge opportunities to attract workers, reduce fuel poverty and achieve a secure energy future for both regions.
Participants will be encouraged to assist in identifying common areas and topics that require further development or investigation. Follow-up meetings are planned with interested stakeholders to discuss and develop the ideas captured in more detail and identify opportunities for establishing further development initiatives, and to strengthen the relationships between the regions.
We hope to see you 28th November!
