Energi i Nord together with Deutsche Aircraft and BLU - Bodø Lufthavnutvikling invites you to the 4th edition of the Bodø SAF/e-fuels seminar.

We take stock of the progress made in implementing 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 (𝗦𝗔𝗙) globally. Industry leaders such as Twelve, Norwegian, Norsk e-Fuel, SAS - Scandinavian Airlines, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide insights into how SAF is helping to decarbonise aviation, and paving the way for a more sustainable industry.

We’ll explore the current status of project development, addressing the challenges and opportunities in building a reliable value chain, including demand and access to feedstock. Financing and capital investment strategies will be discussed, highlighting how they are crucial to scaling SAF production. In addition to the seminar program, there will be a 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 at the Norwegian Aviation Museum, featuring a great collection of historical civilian and military aircrafts such as the Supermarine Spitfire, F104 Starfighter, F16, Lockheed U2 and Messerschmitt 109, to name just a few.

There will also be an opportunity to join a site visit to the construction site of Bodø's new international airport. Beyond aviation, SAF is playing a pivotal role in the broader energy transition, offering solutions that can decarbonize sectors far beyond air travel.
